James M. Chapman, MD, graduated from Clemson University with a degree in biological sciences and earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. Before completing his family practice residency at Valley Baptist in Harlingen, Texas, he served in the South Carolina Army National Guard.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Chapman is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has more than 10 years of experience providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. He also has additional colonoscopy training and speaks conversational Spanish fluently.
